Teachers in Luxembourg had the highest initial income, at $80,000 per year. After 15 years of working, their salaries rose to $112,000, and it took them 30 years to reach the top salary of $139,000. Australia and Denmark showed a different pattern. Teachers in these countries could earn the maximum salary less than ten years; however, the salary range was among the lowest, with a maximum salary of only $48,000 in Australia and $54,000 in Denmark.
